Visualization Technology turned to Stream PD when they needed to make their image guided surgical cart prototype into a viable product. We determined the optimal path to market was to use an off-the-shelf cart and add custom parts to high touch areas to create a semi-custom solution. This allowed them to start generating revenue, minimize risk, and gain key feedback to be incorporated into the next generation cart. For the future, we created concepts for a custom cart that could expand and contract based on customer needs. This gave them a roadmap moving forward as they incorporated user feedback from the quick path solution.
